A few months back, I received an email from Tim asking if I would be interested in photographing his proposal to his girlfriend, Jordan. Interested??? "Of course!" I replied! So, over the next few months, there were several emails back and forth between Tim and myself, going over locations, good setup positions at the location, where he needs to stand, where I can hide, timing and rainy weather back up plan. Then ... the day arrived. I got nervous texts from him during the day ... the last one being, "Leaving restaurant in 5. See you soon! Please don't reply". Up to this point, I hadn't met Tim, but I felt like I had. I was so excited and anxious for him. I was literally hiding in the bushes. I have photographed proposals before, 20 of them in fact. And each one, those moments before they arrive are the most nerve wrecking. When they finally arrive, it is so exciting. I am literally about to watch their lives change! The bended knee, the tears, the shock, the squeal! It is so fantastic. For Tim and Jordan, they also got to share it with their family. When the question had been asked, I got to text Jordan's mum to say it was all good for them to come out! Both families appeared and there were more tears, more shock and more squeals. It was such a lovely moment. I then followed Tim and Jordan as they went for their first walk around this amazing property as an engaged couple. The sky was pretty awesome that night. So, here are the photos of their proposal. It is such a lovely story.
