Today I went for an explore around Barangaroo.  My father has been saying for a couple of years now he wanted to go and see the area, so we headed in together.  It poured on the way in, almost to the point we nearly turned around and went home!  It was just sprinkling when we got there, and almost chilly!  But we walked the full length of Barangaroo, all the way to the rocks, where we grabbed some lunch, and by then, the sun came out!  The images of the HUGE Crown Tower are much more interesting with a bit of sun and blue sky - not that Sydney has seen much of that in the last few weeks.  There are some really cool spots to take urban family photos.  There is a lovely mix of wood and sandstone along the edge of the water, with lovely architecture surrounding it.  I always thought Melbourne won the award for interesting buildings, and Sydney was pretty boring in comparison.  But, Barangaroo certainly offers some funky options.  Let me know if you are interested in some family photos!  There may be a bit of walking involved.
