I had seen lots of images online for Auburn Botanic Gardens, especially during Cherry Blossom times! So I've wanted to visit for some time. So this week, I finally made it. And it was worth it! Really lovely gardens. Lots of water and waterfalls which is very calming and relaxing. There is something about moving water that is soothing, whether its a river flowing, a waterfall, or the waves crashing at a beach. And you don't have to be in the water to feel the relax. The gardens are lovely to walk around and look at, but they are also a beautiful visual experience as well. So, of course, an amazing place to do some family portraits. As we went on a week day, it was nice and quiet. I would think weekends are very busy, so if you can manage to wrangle your family during the week, I think it would be well worth doing so for a bit of freedom at the gardens. There are lots of stunning spots for photo shoots, and lots of cool places for kids to explore and have fun. Stepping stones, stairways, and of course the amazing wildlife. We saw a water dragon and peacocks! I would LOVE to do some family portraits here so please get in touch if you are interested.
