When I ventured into the city to take some photos of the GPO, I was drawn there by the columns, the architecture, and the playing of the light coming in through these columns.  However, as I was wandering around, I discovered a door way, that when I went through it, I found a secret gem.  My heart just sang!!  Through these doors I found amazing stair cases with a lot of the period features of the original GPO.  But, I then found so much more.  There is an atrium that has amazing light and beautiful walkways and features.  Even an old bright red post box!  Still in use I might add!  I also found there is a cafe and the Fullerton Hotel in this atrium, and those spots have the most beautiful architecture and textures through it. Every turn and additional step was filled with "wow" and awe!! Such a grand and hidden treasure!  I am so glad I went venturing (to be honest, I probably wouldn't have if I didn't have my bestie with me!) as I could never have imaging the gem we found.  Remember though, this is just one block in an amazing business district that is so close to our door!  Come and explore with me.  It's so much fun!
