I have always heard about the Mount Tomah Botanical Gardens, and wanted to visit, but whenever I was in the Blue Mountains, it was always passing through, on my way to Orange mostly.  The Blue Mountains does autumn colouring sooo well, so I thought I would use the opportunity to go in Autumn to have a look at the mountains to find a great location for family portraits, and have a look at the Botanical Gardens.  The gardens had limited colour on the day I visited (Mid-late April) but it was still pretty. I think I would use it when not looking for autumn colour, and just family shoots, but there is undoubtedly some autumn colour there, as you can see.  The view is absolutely stunning from the top (look at the end)!  I think it is Wisteria which would be stunning in spring!!
