Brand Refresh Day is a focused personal branding experience created for women who need a small collection of professional images without booking a full branding shoot.
Your session is carefully planned so we can use the time well. I will guide you through every pose, expression and movement.
You will still receive planning, expert direction, professional photography, image selection support and detailed retouching.
But … this isn’t actually about taking photos, it is about teaching you how to look good in them.

Once a session is booked, it’s gone. The four with hair and makeup tend to go first.
Brand Refresh Day is a carefully scheduled studio day, with each session individually planned before you arrive.
Limiting the day to six women means every client receives her own photography time, personal direction and a separate Zoom appointment to select her final images.
Four sessions can include professional hair and makeup. Two are photography-only sessions for women who prefer to arrive camera ready.
WHAT THE DAY ACTUALLY FEELS LIKE
Calm. Guided. Genuinely enjoyable.
You will always know what to do.
I will demonstrate the poses, adjust the details and coach your expression throughout the session. You will not need to arrive knowing how to stand, where to look or what to do with your hands.
I will also show you images on the back of the camera as we go, so you can see what is working and begin to understand how small changes make such a difference.
The session is focused and efficient, but you will never be left to work it out alone.
WHY KIRRI?
I know what it is like …
I have photographed women for more than 20 years and have spent years studying how posing and camera angles change the way a woman appears in a photograph.
Much of the posing advice online was created for young, tall, slim women.
My approach is not … it is for you.
I photograph real women, with real bodies, who may feel self-conscious about their arms, chin, stomach, smile or almost everything at once.
I also understand this from the other side of the camera. I am nearly 50, I do not like how I look nor being photographed. I know how vulnerable it can feel.
So when I tell you I will show you exactly what to do, that is not a sales line. It is the foundation of how I photograph.
My favourite moment is when a client looks at the back of my camera and says:
“Oh. I actually like that.”

The questions I always get

Everyone says that. Yes … everyone. And it's almost never true. You've just never been shown how the camera sees you. That's my job.

Perfect. You're not supposed to. I direct you through every shot … you learn as we go along, and by the end, you will know how it feels when it looks good.

Once you book, I'll help you plan it, so you turn up feeling ready, not stressed.

It's an optional upgrade … and only 4 of the 6 sessions have it. I generally recommend you get hair and makeup done, you don’t need it, but it helps you “feel” pretty, and that shows in the photos. If you want to take advantage of it, be quick!

You will … and the reason is the process. During the session, I will be showing you how you look on the back of the camera. If you have any hesitations, tell me during the session and we will fix it straight away!

Yes. Your session includes five fully retouched images, and additional photographs can be purchased during your Zoom selection appointment for $110 each. There is no pressure to decide before you see them.

Your gallery consultation is done over Zoom. Together we go through your portraits and I will help you compare expressions, poses and image uses, then note your selected favourites for professional retouching.
