Fagan Park
Fagan Park is located in Galston. It is where I do the majority of my shoots. At one end of the park which is where most people don’t go, there is a homestead, barns, sheds, water pumps and gorgeous stretched of land. At the other is themed gardens. I don’t tend to shoot near the themed gardens. They are down the hill and take too long to go up and down. The only exception is in Autumn. That end of the park is stunning in autumn. Bright reds and lots of leaves. Good for throwing! You can take dogs to the park but they need to be on a lead. There is only a fee for parking, which is $6 for the day, to be paid at the parking station at the park.
